Jason served in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Ordnanceman. While deployed in Afghanistan, Jason performed Security duties, in addition to building aircraft munitions. His passion for the outdoors began at an early age. He has spent recent years honing his skills in basic and advanced wilderness survival, hunting, fire starting, along with primitive, and ingenious homemade survival craft. His devotion to these crafts has developed into his dream being realized with FTS as the director of training for wilderness survival. Using his years of hands on training and experience he has, in conjunction with FTS, created several courses, classes and much more to thrill the most hardcore woodsman and inform while building confidence for the novices with a love of the outdoors.
